Using CSS To Created Bulleted Lists

This post was updated on .
Nabble's message composition box offers no way of providing bulleted lists (unless the user is prepared to code their message in HTML).

However, it is possible for an administrator to provide a facility that will produce a result like this:

Bulleted Text
This is achieved at the cost of losing how an H6 heading is displayed by default. All the administrator needs to do is follow the links at:
Options > Application > Change appearance > CSS
and enter the following code in the box that appears:
div.root-text h6:before, div.message-text h6:before {
  content: "\25CF\00A0\00A0" ; /*Black Circle, Non-Break space, Non-Break space*/
  margin: 0 0 0 -1.25em; /*Sets Bullet outdent*/
  padding-right: 0em; /*Sets space after bullet*/
}

div.root-text h6, div.message-text h6 {
/*  border-top: 1px solid #000000; */
  margin: 0 0 0 5em; /*Sets left margin*/
  padding: 0;            /*Sets line spacing*/
  font-size: 1em;
  font-weight: 400;
}
With the code inserted all a user needs to do is use to turn text into a bulleted list item is select the text to become the list item, click the "H2v" button and then the "H6" button.
